Summit was asked to help prepare a business model for a small nonprofit seeking to establish a group home and expand its services. This task entailed a review of the proposed operational plan and participant rules for the building, the proposed budget and revenue history.
This was followed by a meeting with the organization’s founder and a well-structured, half-day planning session to review objectives and key issues with the project’s steering committee. Following the planning session, Summit submitted a final report identifying challenges, options and recommendations for solidifying the business and operational plans and enabling the organization to move forward in establishing the home.
